I am a professional Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher with a strong academic and practical background in classical dance. I began learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 12 and have been deeply committed to this art form ever since.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Bharatanatyam from Kalai Kaveri College of Fine Arts, graduating with 79% and First Class with Distinction. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree (M.A.) in Bharatanatyam at Annamalai University, Chidambaram, to further deepen my knowledge and expertise in this classical dance tradition.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation for every student. For beginners, I teach with patience, guiding them step-by-step with clear explanations, proper techniques, and detailed understanding so that they can learn Bharatanatyam with confidence and ease. For intermediate and advanced students, I provide more intensive training to help them refine their skills and progress to the next level of performance and artistry.
I am specialized in the Pandanallur Bani, a traditional style of Bharatanatyam known for its precision, grace, and strong technique, which shares similarities with the Kalakshetra style.
With dedication and passion for this classical art, I am committed to giving my full effort to help students learn Bharatanatyam in the most authentic and disciplined way.
