Hello, my name is Adekemi Majaro. I am an experienced educator, phonics specialist, and diction coach with over 15 years of teaching and educational leadership experience across nursery, primary, and secondary school levels.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and highly interactive. I create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable to ask questions, practise speaking, and build confidence in their abilities. I believe every child can learn successfully when lessons are engaging and adapted to their individual learning pace.

My teaching methodology focuses on structured phonics instruction, pronunciation practice, guided reading, and practical learning activities that help children understand concepts clearly. I use proven literacy approaches such as Jolly Phonics, blending techniques, sound recognition exercises, and handwriting development strategies to strengthen children’s reading and communication skills.

Through my teaching, many pupils have improved their reading fluency, pronunciation, and overall academic confidence. I also bring valuable leadership experience as a former Head of School and education consultant, where I trained teachers and helped schools strengthen their literacy programmes.

What makes me a great teacher is my passion for helping children succeed, my ability to make learning enjoyable, and my commitment to building strong literacy foundations that support a child’s long-term academic success.
