I am engineer and many a times i feel there is gap between what we are taught at school and what i am facing in real life situations as an Engineer. We are taught simply to solve math and physics problems, but we are not taught why is it a problem in the first place. The answer that you have come up with for a problem, how does it impact the real world. For instance, we simply write x=20, but what does this mean for the physical world. This is what i would like to teach. I would like to take a practical approach to teaching and impart my real world engineering experience to the students in the language they understand. My approach would kindle the curiosity and interest in the students and encourage them to ask more questions.
