Hello! I am a FIDE rated chess player (1800) and an experienced chess coach with a passion for helping students improve their understanding of the game. I have represented Maharashtra at the state level three times and have several years of experience teaching chess to students of different age groups and skill levels.

My coaching focuses on building strong fundamentals and developing deep positional understanding. I train students in all phases of the game, including opening principles, middlegame planning, tactical patterns, and endgame techniques. I also help students prepare for chess tournaments by improving calculation skills, time management, and practical decision-making during games.

My teaching methodology is structured and student-focused. I first evaluate the student’s current level and then design a personalised training plan. Lessons include tactical training, analysis of classical and modern games, practical exercises, and interactive discussions to build strong thinking habits.

I specialise in teaching beginners, intermediate players, and young students who want to improve quickly and develop a strong competitive mindset. My goal is not only to teach moves, but to teach students how to think correctly in chess positions.

Students can expect clear explanations, structured lessons, regular puzzles, and game analysis that help them steadily improve their rating and confidence.
