My name is Kripanand, and I believe learning guitar should be fun, enjoyable, and truly rewarding.

With 7+ years of dedicated guitar teaching experience, I’ve successfully trained over 100 students of all ages and levels, from absolute beginners to advanced players. I founded School of Rock in Trivandrum during my undergraduate days and have been running it ever since, creating a supportive space where students don’t just learn guitar, they fall in love with it.

I hold a B.A. in Communicative English and a Master’s in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work (MSW), along with specialized training from NIMHANS and the State Child Protection Society. This unique background allows me to incorporate therapeutic and wellbeing techniques into lessons, helping students build not only technical skills and creativity but also confidence, discipline, and emotional resilience through music.

Many of my students have gone from zero experience to confidently performing their favorite songs, with high retention and visible progress that keeps them excited lesson after lesson.
