Dedicated ESL teacher with 15+ years of experience in delivering ESL intructions to diverse student population with varied cultural backgrounds. Skilled in influencing students through effective lesson plans, targeting individual learning gaps in a student-centered classroom. Throughout my teaching journey, I have developed a teaching approach that combines communicative language teaching and student-centered methodologies. I firmly believe in creating an interactive learning environment where students can actively engage and apply their language skills. My classroom is learner centered space. I believe that every learner learns differently and they should have multiple opportunities for each learner to shine. Some learners are good in reading, writing, images, music, etc. My classroom has an incorporation of all these things. I also make sure that I’m aware of my students strengths and weaknesses and constantly find opportunities on how I can help them improve and also challenge them. I’m also a firm believer of visual aids and rewards system.
