I am a medical doctor by profession, having earned my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from the University of Nairobi. I ranked 48th nationally in my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations. I am of the Christian faith and a firm believer in precision, diligence, and excellence in all that I do.
I have over 8 years of experience in teaching and writing on medical and health sciences.
I use a student-centered and practical teaching approach tailored to the needs of medical and nursing students. My goal is not only to help students pass exams, but also to build deep clinical understanding and confidence in applying concepts in real-life healthcare settings.

My teaching style focuses on simplifying complex biological and health science concepts into easy-to-understand explanations using diagrams, clinical examples, mnemonics, case discussions, and step-by-step breakdowns. I encourage active learning by involving students in discussions, quizzes, recall sessions, and problem-solving rather than passive memorization.

I teach in clear English and adapt lessons depending on the student’s level of understanding, whether they are beginners struggling with foundational sciences or advanced students preparing for clinical exams and professional practice.

What makes me a great tutor is my ability to make difficult medical concepts understandable, relatable, and memorable while remaining patient, supportive, and highly committed to student success. I understand the challenges medical and nursing students face and aim to make learning less stressful and more effective.
