Helping students conquer algebra, geometry & calculus one problem at a time. Breaking down tough concepts into simple steps 📐✏️ Teaching style: Patient, visual, zero-judgment zone. Methodology: Break tough concepts into simple steps + real-world examples + lots of practice. Results: 90%+ students improve in 3 months. I don’t rush through topics or get frustrated with questions. If you need to hear it again, we go again. Learning isn’t a race. Some kids need 2 minutes, some need 20. Both are fine. I teach with pictures, graphs, color-coding, and real objects. Algebra and geometry are easier when you can _see_ the problem, not just read numbers on a page. Most students are visual learners but math rarely gets taught that way. Wrong answers are allowed here. Actually, they’re useful. A mistake shows me exactly what to fix. No one gets laughed at, rushed, or made to feel dumb for not getting it yet. "Most kids hate math because they’re scared to be wrong. I fix that first."* The reason students shut down in math isn’t the content — it’s fear. Fear of looking stupid in class. Fear of asking a “dumb” question. Fear that they’re just “not a math person.”
If a student is anxious, their brain literally can’t learn new concepts. So before I teach algebra, I teach that mistakes are normal and safe.
Once that fear is gone, students start trying. They ask questions. They attempt harder problems. That’s when grades actually go up. I don’t just teach math. I remove the mental block that stops most kids from learning it.
