After 17 years teaching, 5 of them online, I have developed a unique teaching style that suits all students, helping them get high grades and maintain them. I start my lesson with an activity with real-life examples that opens up students to understand the material, then explain simply the lesson with tons of practice for students to fully grasp the concepts, finishing with an evaluation for them to test what they've learned and correct any misconceptions. My main goal is for students to fall in love with math as much as I do, to relate it to everyday life without feeling like its a boring subject, and to develop important skills like problem-solving. Most of my students pass with flying colors, my classroom average is always very high, and most fall in love with this subject. My love for teaching and math combined with all the experience I've gained from teaching in different settings and different students as well as teaching with empathy all factor into making students have a great experience as I teach them which is what I aim for.
