You may call me 'Petra'
I am 40 years old and was raised and educated in the United States of America. I lived in the state of Louisiana, but am currently in Cambodia. I believe that being able to have a well understood conversation in English can take you many places. I understand that there are plenty of translate apps that help with this issue but nothing compares to being able to learn from a native speaker whom understands English slang, or words that say one thing and mean another. I think that the best way of learning English is through the practicing of dialogue. Knowing an English word and how it is to be used in a sentence is much different than being able to hold a conversation with someone else in English. I like to think that one on one teaching is the most practical way of learning and being able to pronounce the words by seeing my mouth movement and then also being able to understand how it is being used in that particular conversation. :et me give you an ex: there, they're, their, all sound the same. I will teach you when to use them and recognize them when being heard not just read.
