I am a passionate Mridangam teacher with a strong foundation in Carnatic music and rhythm training. My goal is to help students develop a clear understanding of tala, laya, and the traditional techniques of Mridangam playing in a systematic and enjoyable manner.
My classes are suitable for beginners as well as intermediate learners. I focus on building strong fundamentals, including hand techniques, basic lessons, sollukattus, tala exercises, and accompaniment skills. Lessons are customized according to the student's age, learning pace, and musical background.
I believe that learning Mridangam is not only about mastering an instrument but also about developing discipline, concentration, and appreciation for Indian classical music. I encourage regular practice and provide step-by-step guidance to help students gain confidence and perform effectively.
Whether you are learning Mridangam as a hobby, for stage performances, music examinations, or to accompany Carnatic vocal and instrumental music, I am committed to supporting your musical journey with patience and dedication.
