My Teaching Style in Mathematics *Patient + Encouraging + Risk-Safe* My classroom is a “no fear” zone. Students can try, be wrong, and try again. I use lots of praise for effort, not just correct answers. That builds confidence first, then skills follow. From the Philippines, I bring a warm, respectful style where every student feels seen, even online. I helped them to grow to be mathematical proficiency such as computations, use formulas, problem -solving, analyzing and identifying the problem given accurate solution.
To be effective mathematics Teacher: 1. Students stop saying “I’m bad at math.” After 1 month, 80% say “I can try hard problems.” 2. Score growth: My Algebra classes improved average test scores by 15% in 6 months through targeted practice + error analysis. 3. Retention: Students remember concepts longer because they understood _why_, not just _how_. Less re-teaching needed. 4. Engagement: 95% attendance + participation in online classes. Parents report kids actually look forward to math time. Online: interactive whiteboard + screen share . Face-to-face: small groups + math games + quick exit tickets.
Great teachers don’t just deliver content. We build problem solvers who aren’t scared of risk. That’s my goal every class.
