I am a dedicated, enthusiastic, and patient private tutor with teaching experience from 2018 to 2023. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with both primary and secondary students, helping them improve their academic performance and develop confidence in their studies. I specialize in teaching Tamil as a Second Language for Sinhala and English medium students, Sinhala as a Second Language, Scholarship subjects for primary students, and Mathematics for Grades 4 to 8 in the Tamil medium.
My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on understanding each student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. I carefully plan lessons to suit individual learning needs and use clear explanations, practical examples, revision activities, and regular assessments to ensure continuous progress. I encourage students to ask questions freely and participate actively in lessons, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
Over the years, I have helped students strengthen their language skills, improve mathematical understanding, and prepare effectively for examinations. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning opportunities. My goal is not only to help students achieve better academic results but also to develop their confidence, motivation, and love for learning.
I am committed to maintaining a professional, caring, and encouraging relationship with my students. I continuously strive to inspire students to reach their full potential and achieve their educational goals through consistent support and guidance.
