Unlock Your Musical Potential with a Dedicated Professional Educator
Hello and welcome! I am Jeremy, a passionate and highly experienced professional music educator based in Kenya. Whether you are a complete beginner looking to strike your first chord, or an advanced student aiming for international certification, I am here to guide you on a rewarding and structured musical journey.

I specialize in Piano, Violin, and comprehensive Music Theory, offering tailored instruction that blends technical excellence with a deep, genuine appreciation for the art of music.

What I Teach

Piano & Violin (Beginner to Advanced): Step-by-step instruction focusing on foundational technique, posture, sight-reading, ear training, and expressive performance.

Music Theory: Comprehensive tutoring from foundational stave notation to highly advanced concepts, including extended chords, set theory, and Sonata-Allegro form analysis.

International Exam Preparation: I am a specialist in preparing students for the rigorous ABRSM and LCM examinations (both practical and theory). I guide my students through the strict syllabus requirements to ensure confidence and high pass rates.

My Experience & Background
I currently serve as a Peripatetic Music Teacher at Crawford International School, where I deliver engaging music theory and practical lessons to students from Early Years through Middle School, adhering to the high standards of the Cambridge International curriculum.

My academic foundation is built upon a Bachelor of Music (currently completing my final year at Kabarak University) and my own personal achievements within the ABRSM board, holding verified Grade 5 certifications in Piano, Violin, and Music Theory.

Beyond the classroom, I am deeply invested in the academic and psychological dimensions of music. I actively conduct research on the developmental benefits of music in children, allowing me to build highly empathetic, adaptable, and effective lesson plans for students of all learning styles. I am also an active composer, specializing in the fusion of traditional African musical elements with Western contemporary techniques.

My Teaching Philosophy
Every student learns at their own pace. My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and incredibly goal-oriented. I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where making mistakes is just part of the learning process. I balance disciplined technical work with engaging, practical applications so that the material truly resonates with you.
