I'm a Published philosopher and translator. A teacher with over 6 years of experience and an editor with over 10 years of experience. Private tutoring for those who feel the material is detached from reality. I work with history, social theory, and political philosophy. The focus is on the structure of the subject—why it’s designed the way it is, what it leaves out, what it’s trying to do, and who benefits from it. For students who are tired of just absorbing and want to learn how to question.

I have studied and specialized in the history of philosophy, predominantly within the field of Western (Graeco-Roman) tradition. I have participated in seminars, written on various schools and thinkers, and edited collections concerned with the relevance of Ancient philosophy. I have focused on the Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, and Modern periods in the Western philosophical canon. Currently working in the realm of modern and its immediate successor, i.e., contemporary continental philosophy: from rationalism and empiricism, through German idealism, (anti-)realism, Marxism, positivism, phenomenology, existentialism, (post-)structuralism, critical theory, and most of the prominent theoretical schools of our present.

I have teaching experience in both private and public schools, as well as individual and group work with adult learners, particularly in Philosophy and, more generally, in Social Sciences.

I'll be happy to have a trial lesson with anyone curious enough to question and put the material in context. Students in need of writing guidelines and thesis preparation are more than welcome, as I have over 10 years of experience as an editor for various humanities magazines.
