My teaching style is practical, interactive, and student-centered, focusing on hands-on learning through real-world GIS applications. I use a structured methodology that combines step-by-step guidance, project-based tasks, and continuous feedback to ensure students fully understand concepts such as mapping, spatial analysis, and satellite imagery processing. By the end of the lessons, students are expected to confidently use tools like QGIS and ArcGIS, complete independent projects, and apply GIS skills effectively in academic, professional, or environmental planning contexts.
I also create screen recordings during lessons, where I demonstrate each step while explaining the process clearly. This allows students to follow along in real time and also revisit the videos later for practice and better understanding. These recordings are especially helpful for reinforcing learning, as students can pause, replay, and practice at their own pace, ensuring they fully grasp each GIS task.
