I am a committed and adaptable educator with a strong foundation in Mathematics teaching and current experience as an FS1 Assistant Teacher. My background in mathematics allows me to bring strong analytical skills, structured planning, and problem-solving strategies into the early years classroom.
As an FS1 assistant, I support the class teacher in delivering play-based, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities that build early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. I am passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where young learners feel confident, curious, and excited to discover new ideas.
I work collaboratively with the teaching team, assist in classroom management, and build positive relationships with children and families. With my combined experience in mathematics and early years education, I aim to provide high-quality support that contributes to each child’s holistic growth and success.
My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and child-centered. I focus on creating a warm and structured learning environment where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, and learn through play. I use hands-on activities, visual aids, and real-life experiences to make learning meaningful, while gently guiding children to develop independence and confidence.
