I am a hard working early childhood and English teacher. I use mostly enquiry based methodologies and Regio Emilia principles. I value the importance of understanding what the child knows and understanding before introducing new knowledge. Hands on learning is very important to me because most of the young learners understand concepts through hands on learning. The use of a variety of teaching media and resources is critical for me because I feel that learners have different learning styles that need to be addressed by the teacher. I am a good listener and i take proud of that because that makes it better for my teaching process.I value learners from different backgrounds and I always make an assessment of their learning level before planning for new students to map the direction and the content that can be covered at a time. Parent teacher collaboration is also important to me especially when dealing with young childrenas the parent is always the first teacher of a child.
