In this class, you will learn about data science in a fun and simple way that’s just for you! You don’t have to be a math or computer genius to join in. All you need is your curiosity and willingness to learn. Let’s start with the basics: What is data? Where does it come from? And how do we organize it? You will learn how to identify patterns, ask questions, and turn numbers into stories that make sense.

As you continue to learn with me, you will see how data can help you answer questions such as: What is the most popular game? What is the best day for a class party? We will use fun activities, real-life examples, and even games to help you understand important concepts. For example, you might collect data about your favorite snack or even make a prediction using data. Who knows? You might even make a prediction about which day is best for a class party!

We shall also teach you beginner-friendly tools and coding concepts to assist you in exploring your data. Don’t worry if you have no idea what coding is all about. We shall all learn together, step by step. Making mistakes is a process that we all have to go through. With a mistake, we shall learn something new.

After this journey, you shall not only have a clue about what data science is all about, but you shall have become a problem solver. You shall have the capacity to look at information around you and make sense out of it.
