Born as the child of expat Indian teachers in Africa, I grew up surrounded by books and ddeveloped a love for reading and the English language early on. Having spent both my childhood and aulthood across the globe, I have a neutral English accent and am at ease with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I’ve worn many hats in the past 20 plus years - content lead, senior content writer, PR and marketing executive, but writing has always been at the heart of what I do.
From covering news stories and editing monthly magazines to handling the content for product launches like Samsung’s Galaxy S24, my career has taken me across industries and platforms. I've led content for brands like Joyalukkas and Bione, published articles on sites like Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance, and worked with fast-paced teams at agencies like Pathos PR. My last stint was as head of content at Ghori Holding, overseeing everything from social media copy to full-blown content strategies across the personal care segment. I have lately pivoted into teaching English, Math and French. Through teaching, I want more people to fall in love with reading and the beauty of language...just like I did.
I hold an MBA in Marketing, speak five languages (including Amharic!), and pride myself on being detail-oriented, self-driven, and easy to work with.
