I am a Mathematics educator in training with a deep love for the subject — backed by degrees in Mathematics, Applied Statistics, and Data Science, and currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary). I have a genuine passion for making abstract mathematical concepts click for students, and I bring exceptional patience and communication skills honed through customer-facing and volunteer roles. I am looking to build meaningful, long-term relationships with students and help them grow in confidence and ability.
I believe that if you have had the privilege of a good education, you have a responsibility to pass that knowledge on to someone who wasn’t as lucky. That belief has shaped everything — from tutoring neighbourhood kids in India during my undergraduate years, to mentoring university students at RMIT, to now formally training as a secondary Mathematics teacher. Tutoring, for me, is not a side job. It is the most direct way I know to make my education mean something beyond myself.
