Teach the student from basic beginner till expert level, Also give them complete freedom after seeing improvement to suggest or try to learn what they want. I teach chords, then lead then arpeggios in that order. Then go into theory of music, chord construction, Formulation of scales and how scales can be modified to form modes .I strictly only teach western guitar on acoustic, electric( rhythm and lead) and bass guitar. I give students homework and expect them to take the lessons seriously. I have various online certifications.I also create my own music, produce it and release them online.
