My personal approach to Language is "Language is a learned art, not a taught one." I focus on pop culture and media trends to help students learn a language by integrating them with the textbook. My classes are not simple lectures; I prefer to interact and guide students from what they know to what they do not. I do not believe in limiting language learning to just grammar rules; I love the rhythms and music of all the languages I speak and teach, and I strive to make my students fall in love with language as much as I am in love with them. I provide detailed notes, dictations, practice sets, and some fun stories with each class to keep the lesson engaging without being boring. I love stories, and I love telling stories to teach language. So my lessons are arranged into storytelling sessions, with language learning in focus.
