Firstly student should learn the Shruti knowledge Shruti knowledge, gives everything for a singer for a vocal practice especially singing Sa,papa Sa beginning stage is very crucial to build a good Shruthi laya . while singing in Carnatic that brings good rhythm to the playback singing also. Then we further go to exercise sarali, Janta and dhaatu varse these helps to Shruti and laya, then we explore sapta Tala alankaras and other musical form such as geeta's and Verna which are highest forms which having Gamaka,while rendering this musical forms. These gamaker gives good vocal stability.
