I am Dr Prakashrao Sr Consultant Microbiologist and Associate Professor of Microbiology with 13 plus years of experience post MD and have worked with various Medical Colleges, MNC diagnostic laboratories, Government hospitals and been honorary member of FSSAI in the Scientific panel of MRG.
I teach MD and MDS students for basic medical sciences and infectious diseases, MBBS and BDS students for Microbiology, Nursing and Allied health courses for Microbiology.
I have a team of 15 doctors in various levels of academic profession and catering them their work and maintain the department with expertise opinion to the students for ICMR projects and other research activities in the department and College.
I have published 8 papers in International journals and published book chapters in International books on Medical Microbiology.
I have a peer group of colleagues who are the Heads of departments of various departments in Medical Colleges throughout India and in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry.
I am an Internal and External examiner for TN Dr MGR Medical University, Pondicherry University and for Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh Universities.
I am also guide for Postgraduate students of MD Microbiology and Ph.D graduates.
