For beginner kids my classes are lots of fun with stories.
Stories help children to relate to real life and they can remember the concepts well.

For example if a pawn is defending the king I say to kids this is like a gate.
If you want to enter the house you need to open the gate like this you have to remove the pawn in front of your opponents king.
