Experienced Mathematics Teacher | Master's Degree | 22 Years of Teaching | High School & University Level
I'm a Mathematics teacher based in Thessaloniki, Greece, with 22 years of teaching experience combining classroom instruction in Greek public secondary schools and private one-on-one tutoring at high school and university level. I hold a Master's degree in Mathematics and offer online lessons in fluent English (C2 — Proficiency) or Greek (native).
Unlike most online tutors who are current students or recent graduates, I am a career educator. You're working with someone who has spent over two decades helping students truly understand mathematics — not someone learning to teach as they go.
University students — my main focus:
Calculus I & II (Differential and Integral, single and multivariable)
Linear Algebra (vector spaces, matrices, eigenvalues, linear transformations)
Probability Theory (distributions, random variables, limit theorems)
Statistics (descriptive and inferential, hypothesis testing, regression)
I work with first- and second-year students from engineering, economics, computer science, business, and science programs who need help passing exams or building a stronger foundation for advanced courses.
High school students:
Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus
Exam preparation and concept reinforcement
What makes my lessons different:
For every topic I teach, I provide written notes — clear theory, worked examples, and graded practice problems. My teaching philosophy is simple: deep understanding beats memorization. The goal is for you to solve problems you have never seen before — not just repeat what we covered together.
How lessons work:
Online via Zoom or Google Meet, with a digital whiteboard for clear step-by-step explanations
Lessons of 60 or 90 minutes (90 minutes recommended for university-level topics and exam preparation)
Flexible scheduling across European time zones (CET / EET)
First 30-minute introductory call free, so we can review your syllabus and decide if I'm the right fit
Written notes and homework provided after every session
Before you message me:
Tell me your university course (or high school class), the specific topics you're struggling with, and your upcoming exam date if you have one. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help and roughly how many sessions you'll need to reach your goal.
I look forward to working with you.
