I am a dedicated and experienced Chemistry tutor with a strong academic background, holding a First-Class degree in Chemistry and an MRes in Molecular Modelling from University College London. Over the past six years, I have taught students across a wide range of levels, from KS2 and GCSE to A-Level, IB, and foundation-year university chemistry. My teaching experience includes working with schools, tutoring centres, and higher education institutions, where I have supported students from diverse academic backgrounds and learning styles.
I specialise in making complex scientific concepts clear, engaging, and easy to understand. Whether a student is struggling with core concepts, preparing for important exams, or aiming for top grades, I tailor lessons to their individual needs and learning style. I place strong emphasis on building confidence, developing problem-solving skills, and improving exam technique through structured explanations, active learning, and targeted practice questions.
Alongside Chemistry, I also have experience teaching Maths and Science, helping students strengthen their analytical thinking and academic foundations. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and focused on measurable progress. I regularly track student performance and adapt my teaching methods to ensure continuous improvement and long-term understanding rather than memorisation alone.
Having worked with GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, and IB curricula, I understand the demands of different exam boards and how to prepare students effectively for assessments. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking critically, and developing genuine confidence in their abilities.
