Hello! My name is Sheri Mae, and I am a passionate and dedicated ESL teacher who enjoys helping students improve their English communication skills. I am taking up Secondary Education major in English, which has helped me develop effective teaching strategies, patience, and confidence in handling different types of learners. I can teach kids, young learners, and adults in a fun, friendly, and supportive way.

In my class, I focus on improving speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and conversational English. I also help students with their assignments, homework, reading activities, and school tasks to help them better understand their lessons and improve their academic performance. I always make sure that my students feel comfortable and encouraged to express themselves confidently. For young learners, I use interactive and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable. For adult students, I provide practical English lessons that can help them in daily conversations, work, travel, and personal growth.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I always adjust my teaching style based on the student’s level and needs. I am patient, hardworking, and willing to help my students improve step by step. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students can enjoy learning English while building their confidence and communication skills.

I must speak clearly, use proper English, and provide corrections politely and patiently. I am also responsible for monitoring the student’s progress, giving constructive feedback, and encouraging them to participate actively during the lesson.     As an OJT student taking up Secondary Education major in English, my roles and responsibilities include assisting my cooperating teacher in classroom activities and helping maintain a positive learning environment. I am responsible for preparing lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities that can help students improve their English skills. I must teach and communicate effectively using proper grammar, pronunciation, and appropriate language. I should manage the classroom properly, encourage students to participate, and observe their progress and behavior. I am also expected to follow school policies, show professionalism, be punctual, and submit all assigned tasks and reports on time. In addition, I should participate in school programs and activities while continuously improving my teaching skills, confidence, and professionalism to become an effective future educator.
