Sometimes i like to use visuals as a teaching style, I believe it helps the student understand the subject better.
I like to understand what type of learner my student is after i have asked what type of learners they are. I don't just teach and move on for a topic, i often quiz my students to make sure they fully understand that particular topic before we move on.
I always encourage my students to ready more on the subjects i teach them, not when when i teach them and its okay to be ahead in reading. My students always pass.
