I am an MSc Oceanography graduate from Cochin University of Science and Technology with a strong background in Physics and Earth Science. I specialize in teaching Science and Physics for school students up to +2 level in a clear, concept-oriented manner. My academic and research background has trained me to understand scientific concepts in depth and explain them in a clear, logical, and application-oriented manner.

During my academic training and research work at National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research, I worked extensively with scientific data analysis, interpretation, and technical presentations, which strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and structured way. I have experience presenting scientific work through seminars and discussions, helping me develop strong communication and teaching skills.

My teaching approach focuses on building conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I aim to make students comfortable asking questions and help them improve their confidence in problem solving, numerical applications, and exam preparation. I can assist students with regular coursework, board exam preparation, assignments, and doubt clearing sessions.

I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment tailored to each student’s pace and learning style.

Experience

  • Intern (Dec, 2025–Apr, 2026) at National centre for polar and ocean research, Goa
    Completed MSc dissertation at the National Centre for Polar and
    Ocean Research (NCPOR), Goa, focused on analyzing upper ocean
    structure in the Kongsfjorden (Arctic) region. The work involved
    processing CTD temperature and salinity data and developing a
    gradient-curvature-based method to estimate isothermal layer
    depth in complex profiles. The study examined barrier layer
    formation and its controlling mechanisms, highlighting the role of
    salinity stratification and subsurface temperature structure. The
    project strengthened skills in ocean data analysis, algorithm
    development, and interpretation of stratified ocean environments.
  • Intern (May, 2025–Jun, 2025) at National centre for polar and ocean research, Goa
    Completed a summer internship in Physical Oceanography at the
    National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Goa, where
    I worked on the processing and analysis of oceanographic NetCDF
    datasets for the Kongsfjorden (Arctic) region. The work involved
    data extraction, quality control, and visualization of reanalysis data
    using Python.
