I am an International Master (IM) with a peak FIDE rating of 2443 (FIDE ID: 25009532), former Under-18 Asian Champion, and Under-20 Asian Rapid Silver Medalist. With over 8 years of coaching experience, I have trained students ranging from complete beginners to advanced tournament players.

Learn from a pro

Excellent teacher with great insights into the game of chess. Quickly gained an understanding of my level and we immediately worked on fundamentals to improve my game. Chakravarthy is an international master who is generous with his own knowledge and experience. Highly recommended to players of my level (1200 rating on chess.com).

Very engaging, effective and dedicated teacher

My son has enjoyed each of Chakravarthy’s classes and has improved so much under his guidance. Since we live in London we’ve had no problem working with him in distant location. He has an individual approach tailored to my son’s ability. He assessed my son’ ability and teaches him specifically to his level of play. My son has found a new confidence and enjoys playing like never before. And definitely agree with earlier reviews, he is very different from other chess tutors who are there just for quick money. He is professional ,keen and dedicated to improve my sons level.

Awesome teacher and pesonality !!

Chakravarthy is one of the best chess teachers I have interacted with. He is more focused on his students and always finds out the way to improve the students by his different chess techniques.
I personally feel he is not one who runs behind the money rather more focused on deliverables. Truly calm, mannered, and prompt on his time. I appreciate his effort and time in teaching my kid !!

The best tutor ever.

He is very patient and understanding. He is the best chess tutor you can get. He is going to take time out of his day to help you. He is also very flexible with timings. I have only had a couple of sessions with him, but I have improved by more than 50 percent.
