I have very bad experience with my old violin teacher who used to just give me a piece and ask me to play it. He only comments when i play a wrong note and moves on to the next piece when im done. It felt robotic and i didn't learn anything i couldn't figure out myself. I wanted to know how to play in tune and be given specific advice that a youtube video couldn't, like fixing posture or correcting bad habits. He wasnt patient and learning environment felt suffocating. I want to play violin every saturday at any time, (phillippine time). But i dont have much budget, so i expect that i can only afford around 30mins on zoom. I want to learn to play a scale and not make a sound i want to stop, that is my simple goal. And please don't pressure me, i want to enjoy playing.
