I am a professional vocalist and multi Instrumentalist having an experience of more than 10 years. I do regular stage performances and have participated in prestigious concerts and talent hunts. Have done my classical vocal training under the tutelage of Bidushi Dipali Nag and completed diploma in Indian Classical. Presently I am under the talim and guidance of Bidushi Kaushiki Chakraborty. Received my violin training from Calcutta School of Music. I am specialized in imparting musical training to kids as well as adult. My teaching method is most importantly using the correct vocal techniques for efficient and effortless singing. Providing individual attention and specific requirements of students are my prime lookout. I also focus on grooming for stage performance. Methodical learning along with quality is my teaching style. I teach : Indian Classical, Semi Classical, Light Music, Bollywood, Bhajan, Folk, RabindraSangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Adhunik etc

Amrita is simply awesome.. a perfect classical vocal instructor .. She is an all-rounder with a naturally gifted voice made perfect with her relentless nurturing for 10+ years. She is a natural dancer too and amazes me with her super skills. Always so adjusting and flexible. Am extremely happy to be her student.

Very Friendly & Encouraging Teacher

I have been taking lessons from Amrita for quite a sometime. She is very encouraging and helps me to learn the vocal techniques. After the class, she promptly sends the audios for practice and also the video of playing keyboard so that it becomes easy for me to learn at home. She is serious in her job. I would recommend her to all who are aspiring to become singer. Wishing her all success.

Very professional, dedicated and punctual

I have been taking singing lessons from Amrita for last 4 weeks. I was told that I will start noticing difference in my singing after 3 months. After doing the vocal exercises with Amrita in the class and practicing them just thrice a week, I was able to sing a song on it's original scale which I had always struggled to do. Definitely I can feel the difference in my voice and I will recommend Amrita to other aspiring singers who want to take their skill to the next level.

One of the finest teachers I know ?

It has been a great opportunity to connect with Amrita. I have taken a handful of classes with her now and to my delight, I must say that she is brilliant at what she does. I have been doing my vocal training and keyboard training with her. She is very attentive towards the way I grasp things and helps me in understanding the concepts and picking up the fundamentals of music. She is also very encouraging and sweet. Friendly, Talented, Calm and Patient

She has vast musical experience and is an excellent teacher. She is very good at assessing a student’s abilities and interests and adjusting lessons accordingly.

Also want to add that as I am enjoying my Online classes during this pendamic. And as I am a working woman so time flexibility is also available with her.

Dedicated , fun loving ,awesome teacher

I found Amrita ma'am on teacheron to teach key board to my daughter.
From day one she made personal connect with my 6 years old daughter and they were more like friends. This helped my daughter to learn quickly without fear . I could see the development in her. Patient, dedicated, and a brilliant tutor!

I've been training under Amrita ma'am for over 4 months now. She has the ability to break things down for first-timers like me, and at the same time help me push myself to explore my true potential. Before every class, she shares the things she'd cover. And right after every class, she shares audio notes. This helps me practise in my own time, at my own pace. As I'm a working professional, sometimes things come up at the last moment. But she's kind and flexible enough to re-schedule the classes as per mutual convenience. Highly recommended for beginners and amateurs alike!
