I aim to teach students to understand concepts rather than learn by rote. - Qualified teacher and examiner. - Many students go onto medicine, vetmed and dentistry. - Prepare students for 13+, 11+ and scholarships: Westminster, Habs, QE Boys, Latymer, St Albans, Oundle, Bedford Modern and Kimbolton: for students outside the UK and UK based.

During lesson we look at exam questions and examiners reports to highlight the skills and knowledge needed to attain the top grades. I use exam papers to identify areas of weakness so we can then work on specific skills or topics. We can then revise topics and make revision materials.

Having dyslexia myself means I can help dyslexic students learn techniques to help them with both revision and accessing information on the exam papers.
I`m a qualified teacher and examiner with 22 years experience. Until recently I was working part time in a school in Hertfordshire teaching A level biology. I have worked with AQA and Edexcel as an examiner and moderator. This has allowed me to gain a good understanding of the exam requirements.
