I have been tutoring students for the past 4 years, just after finishing my Olevels in 2016. My first student was from class 6 (who is going to sit for her IGCSES now), and I am still tutoring her.
I usually start by following their syllabuses. When their syllabuses are complete, i give them revision works and take tests after every two days. This helps them to rectify any mistakes and help them to understand a problem completely. Just before their exams come up, I make them go through the syllabus again so that there are no last minute problems left and they can secure a very good mark.
I have started teaching Alevel students when i, myself didnot complete A2. I have started tutoring them when i just completed AS. My second A2 student( C34 currently known as P3 P4) wanted to hire me as a tutor when i, myself didnot sit for C34 exam. She secured an A in that unit and got an A in IAL mathematics. I hope this information will allow you to understand my way of teaching.
