Hello dear friend,
I have been playing piano since last 14 years. I hold two Advanced Diplomas from the prestigious Trinity College of London (Piano and Music Theory) and I am a full-time music professor at Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. I manage a team of highly experienced tutors and provide the personal touch to your learning which is much needed in your music journey. We have experience teaching a wide array of students of different playing levels and ages, from different parts of the world like the US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Canada, Argentina and India, to name a few. In my experience, I have found that any person can play and master music. Although, consistency and patience is the key!

We also provide all the materials needed. All you need is an instrument, notebook, pencil and a strong will!

Superb teaching method

I have been learning music since a few years under various tutors but wasn't quite satisfied. But Abhi Sir's teaching method is just great. He doesn't train me just for the examination but for overall musical knowledge.

Fun and knowledgeable

His knowledge of music is great.

I bought a guitar few weeks ago. I'm a beginner and I tried to learn it on YouTube but it was all waste so decided to take online classes and I came to know about ABHI JOSHI. Trust me you won't find any other tutor like him. He is so polite and his knowledge of music is extra ordinary.

Mr. Abhi is and excellent teacher.

My name is Sanvi. I am 10 years old and have been playing piano for 5 years with tutors in Europe. I have recently started learning Piano online with Mr Abhi. Mr. Abhi is a focused and dedicated teacher. He explains all the elements of music properly. I look forward to every class and get really excited the night before. In beginning I was sort of hesitant changing my tutor and starting with Mr. Abhi, but now I definitely want to have him as a teacher.
All in all, Mr. Abhi is an amazing teacher. He is patient and understands your problems, difficulties and will have an easy solution which will improve whatever you were struggling with. He has the knowledge to play different types of music and his teaching skills stand out.

He is the best guitar teacher.

I have never met an Instructor soo discplined about your improvement. I'd played a long time, but a lot of guitar was still very unknown to me. He has ways to help you with that and ways to help you learn to play in all styles. He is incredibly patient and makes sure that I enjoy my lessons. He himself is talented, focused and can play many different genres. Try him out for one lesson and you will see! Very Recommended.

Abhi will turn you into a musician.

I have been taking music and piano lessons from Abhi for the last 4 months. When we started, I had zero experience in music. No background knowledge in music theory or how to play a single key on piano. At the start of year 2020, I thought of learning music and bought a keyboard. After a few false starts (watching youtube videos and trying to teach myself without any help), I looked out for help here on teacheron. Abhi responded to my request.

We started from scratch. And five months later, I gave a Grade 3 practical exam (given by Trinity College of London) and passed with a Merit score. In these five months, I learnt fundamentals of music theory like staff notations, reading notes, fundamentals of notes, scales, key signatures, accidentals, major and minor chords, chord progressions, tonic triads, first and second inversions, circle of fifths, and so much more. And now I can play 3 classical pieces including Prelude in A minor by Barbra Arnes.

All this to say, Abhi is an excellent teacher. He understands the fears and frustrations of a beginner and he guides you through every little step with patience and encouragement. He picks up our strengths and weaknesses and guides thru every little detail by communicating clearly how to rectify mistakes. This is helping me to continue learning a new concept/piece step by step without developing any phobia around it. Classes are interactive and fun. Every class you will come out learning something new without any stress or feeling bored. He has a vast amount of knowledge in Classical, Contemporary, Rock, Jazz, Hip-Hop music. Whatever is your choice of music, he will make it fun and playful, while you make progress at the same time. Check out his youtube channel for his performances.

Most dedicated teacher I’ve ever had!

When I first started music lessons with Abhi I had 0 knowledge about music theory. He is dedicated about teaching and makes sure you have understood everything he tells you. Best music teacher I've seen in my life

The perfect teacher

I'm 36 & a businessman based in Mumbai and I started learning piano about 9 months back. In spite of having taken personal lessons for 2-3 months from grade 5 and grade 8 teachers in Mumbai, I was disappointed with their methods which lacked personal attention. That's when I got in touch with Abhi on his YouTube channel.
Once I started with his online classes, I could gradually discern that his methods are much focussed on primarily strengthening the basics which are of vital importance for learning any instrument, before going to the easier part of playing.

His knowledge of music and his humbleness and selflessness

I met Abhi joshi in college and his teaching has been giving me immense knowledge and confidence. From his teaching I understood many theory concepts like cromatic scale, circle of fifths, scales with a clear perspective also different genre and many more important tips which needs to keep in mind while playing an instrument live on stage which really helped me to get better musician each day.

I found Abhi Joshi through his Youtube channel.

Abhi is undoubtedly an excellent teacher and a very patient person. He walked me through Music Theory Grade 1 and his teaching methods are great as he explains the theory part on the whiteboard which makes it very much easier to understand. He provides all the necessary stuff like NOTES and STUDY MATERIALS which is the key to a strong foundation. I have taken twelve sessions from him so far and I have enjoyed each and every session as he makes me love the subject so much and I have also been excited for the upcoming sessions always. I highly recommend Abhi Joshi as a music tutor if you would like to build a strong base. Looking forward to more such sessions :)

He is the kind of teacher you won't find everyday

I started learning guitar about four years ago and was very excited to find him as he was my very first teacher. I did not know much about music back then but after a few sessions with him my concepts became wider. He taught me from the very basics of what music actually is and clarified my other deeper concepts about theory and my field of instrument.
I just want to say that he will unlock your potential in such a way that you will develop a healthy perspective in the field.
