I always begin by gathering information about how best the student understands, their capabilities, strengths then I maximize on that. I mostly use the question and answer methodology at first to achieve that. The approach that a student takes in answering questions helps a teacher to know whether they have understood the concept, so I am very keen and patient by putting the student’s needs first for the short period of time I have with them because at the end of it all we need to achieve results as our main goal.
