I am a Certified Carnatic teacher and teach students from ages 6 to 50. My way of teaching is very simple and also spend time in communicating with the students with their doubts and how to overcome the difficulty in learning. I teach the basics very well so that my students could sing like a pro. I am a dedicated teacher who has 10 years of experience and guiding them throughout their musical journey with me. All these years, I have been doing my best and how I was taught by my Guru. Very grateful to her and doing justice to my profession. My students are indeed very happy in learning it the simpler way, the basics being taught with perfection, so they can flourish wherever they go!

    I started ShruthiLaya Music Academy in 2019, with 10 years of overall teaching experience through virtual and offline classes. I plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses. I teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students entering and preparing for examinations. I also motivate my students and encourage their progress.
    I am teaching one of my students who has suffered from TIA stroke. It has not only helped him improve his singing (because of his immense interest in learning music) abilities, but also with regards to uninterrupted speech. His dedication for yoga and music has drastically decreased his vocal chords issue.

A very patient teacher ?

I know her since my school days. A very down to earth person, has lot of patience in teaching kids(specially online) always smiling ? my son is learning from her since 3 months and he is very happy and confident in whatever he has learnt till date. Thanks a lot Harini for all the hard work. Kudos

Excellent teacher

Harini teacher is an excellent music teacher, she established a great relationship with my daughter and keeps her motivated. She is very reliable, attentive and enthusiastic...
It's tough to grab attention from kids but harini teacher did it very perfectly by maintaining close Rapo with my daughter...finally I can give 10/10 for sure .m.

Graceful and Friendly Music teacher

My 5 year old daughter has been learning classical music with Harini for the last 4 months. She is always excited to attend the classes because of the cheerful and friendly attitude. Dedicated and professional teacher

I was looking for a good teacher for a while, and I found Harini through my friend's reference. Since I know the basics of karnatic music, I was looking for the right teacher; from the first class itself, I came to understand her dedication and sincerity in teaching.I currently live in the US and was looking for someone who can communicate well with the kid since she is multilingual(Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and very good in English), which in the first place made my kid comfortable. She is very dedicated and adaptive to my timezone and knows how to deal with the kids. I am so glad that my kid is in the right hands, and he is getting better in his singing. I will recommend her to my friends and family.

Awesome Teacher

Passionate and gives 100% and pretty good soft skills

I am taking sessions (adult) due to various reasons and I am happy to recommend Mrs. Harini for the musical classes for kids/adults..beginner's or intermediate mode. She does give her best and has the knowledge about music plus she is multi linguist (knows multiple languages). Good luck!
