I am an Engineer With Masters from Indian Institute of Technology. I am tutoring Math and Science since last 10 years. My teaching method is just opposite to rote learning. I believe that concepts are the most important part of building a student's foundation and I have a habit of putting more emphasis on concepts and solving doubts of each child. I am an extremely passionate person when it comes to training young minds in the field of Math and Science.
I try being flexible with the student's grasping capability and also make sure that the student grows interest in the subject. Confidence building is something I solely prioritize. Regular doubt clearing and assessment of the student is done through regular class tests.
Mathematics is not about numbers, equations or computations: It is about the understanding.
I believe in making the basics/ fundamentals strong so that a student can understand any topic clearly. Spent good numbers of years in teaching which I enjoy a lot. Once the bond between teacher and student is developed learning becomes very easy. My teaching method is primarily focused on explaining practical scenarios which helps in quick and effective understanding.
I begin with basic concepts, followed by intensive practice in tutorials and examples.
I usually prefer quick tests to know students understanding of the subject.
I design my own examples in various stages of difficulty levels to help in students understanding in addition to the text book questions
Mathematics is to solve a task with a set of rules. I provide quick notes and rules to be refereed that can be helpful to solve questions of any difficulty level
I believe learning is better if you can visualize it, and hence in addition to providing real world examples, I prefer teaching using graphs and plots for enhanced understanding of the subject
Mathematics and Science are my forte where conceptualized understanding is the key for success.
Had work overseas for good number of years across many countries and studied the mindset of students towards mathematics.
Most of my students are studying or working in premium universities and companies which boost up the energy and motivation to teach/ guide/ mentor more students with focused targets.
As I am Engineer by profession and like to engineer the Students for better future, a better tomorrow.
