I'm a tutor who teach GCE O/L science and mathematics.
My methodology is not mostly based on notes and what I do is explain the basic theory and help the student memorize the subject matter without depending on written notes.
What I always say is that the best note is your text book and if someone knows the theory correctly and then if he/she study the text book that student can answer any OL question.
I have taught two students who did not have any subject knowledge on chemistry and physics parts of the ordinary level science syllabus two months before the exam. They are about to face the examination this year.
I'm pretty good at teaching things fast and short, specially for students who were not able to follow subject matter for a long time.
