In order to excel in this sport you need to have a good knowledge about Fundamentals Openings, Middlegame and Endgame Concepts. Also you need to train regularly to get better at Calculation/Analysis skills.
For all of this you would need a coach who is very much active and in healthy mind frame who can train your child . Life imitates Chess and they relate deeply with each other . I work on student's strengths by forming a specific training programme which focuses on development of overall fragments of Chess and also build his/her champion mindset . Training material with specific targets are given . Training games are being played on regular basis, depending upon the program. Tournament exposure which is necessary for a player to grow is also provided . Being an active player myself, I believe in having higher goals and methodical work aiming for the long term results .Lets dream big and never give up !

    I am Soham Datar from Maharashtra, India . 

    I am a professional Chess player as well as a FIDE Instructor . I have been playing Chess since last 13 years at State,National as well as International Level  and had also developed an interest in training from the last 8 years . This resulted in training many talented kids who have won laurels on all levels . My current FIDE ELO is 2115 with a personal best of 2192 and improving steadily . 

    Will be happy and eager to work with anyone who is interested to play and take it to the further level . 

    *My important Achievements as a Player, 

    1. Winner of the prestigious 94th Paris Open International Fide Rating tournament  in Category A ( below ELO - 2300) .

     2. Winner at Samreddy Agireddy Centenary Open Fide Rating tournament 2018 @ Hyderabad

     3. Winner in many rapid and blitz events.

     4. 6th in Open category of ELO 2099 and less in Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival @ UAE .

    5. Joint first @ KIIT International GM Open ( Category B ) in 2015 @ Bhubaneswar India

    * My achievements as a Coach

    1. My students have won U12,U15, Districts and States and performed their best at the national with a huge ELO Boosts . 

    2. My student won Bronze Medal in Western Asian Youth Rapid event . 

    3. Have given their best in their respective age groups in Open events as well .

    Fees can vary based upon the number of sessions /Time/Place . Various training programs are available depending upon strength of student/Player and how professionally they want to take it to the next level . Fees will vary for Special group batches which are also conducted by selecting talented Kids to train them for International Level .
