My name is Prashant Jha, I have been in this field for 17 years. Teaching is both my hobby and profession. I am a math teacher who sees himself as a problem solver and team worker.
See, there is no established method of teaching for a teacher. You need to adapt to the needs of your students. And like a student, you should keep refining yourself with your daily experiences.
As far as my teaching is concerned, I first check my student's level. And start from where they need to be handled. See, there are some students who do not understand anything quickly, then I start from zero there and slowly take them to the level where they need to understand that subject. Some students are such that there is no lack of information but they do not believe in themselves, for such students you also have to work as a teacher cum motivational guide.
I believe that if the students come to you to calm their curiosity, then the remaining work will be done by themselves. Teaching is an art, I teach my students a lot and I learn a lot from them too.
Perhaps this is the reason that for so many years I have been able to carry out my duty as a teacher and children who score 35% marks are able to score 100% marks by studying with me.

Once timing is fixed i never change or postpone.
I prefer one hr class duration. Weekly thrice in noise free environment.
I allow students to ask cross questions and try to solve the problems in the class only.
I believe once your fundamental is clear you can easily solve any types of sum so I give more focus on clearing the doubts.
I provide my class notes just after the each class so that student can make their digital notes and take reference in future whenever they want.
I give a concept checking test after completion of each chapter
