My name is Candice, and I am from Davao City, Philippines and presently teaching full time in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in Teaching Secondary English and obtained my professional teaching license in October of 2004. I am presently connected with a Cambridge and IB accredited International School in North Jakarta, Indonesia as a Middle and High School English Teacher. Currently, I handle middle school EFL classes while simultaneously providing classroom instruction to Grade 12 graduating students following the IB English B curricula. I previously worked in national and private schools which brought about my past work experiences which included teaching English classes to heterogeneously grouped students in self-contained classes of mixed abilities.

I worked for an English Academy for non- native English learners in the Philippines both offline and online. I held an administrative position as the School Registrar in charge of keeping records of our student enrollees. I engaged in curriculum development, enhancing curricula for Practical English (Conversational English), IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC while teaching and delivering the modules we designed. In 2011, as an Academic Head of Cleverlearn English Language Institute (CELI), I maintained and reported on a broad spectrum of quality control-related academic monitoring for the faculty department.
