I am a registered Architect with the Council of Architecture currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture and Planning, Sister Nivedita University, NewTown and pursuing Ph.D degree in Engineering (Urban Studies) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
I have taught in various colleges as Visiting Faculty and have written 10 research papers (5 of which have been published in journals of high repute and 5 are under progress) related to architecture, pedagogy, urban design, culture and society. I have also assisted my teachers in teaching undergraduate students in subjects like design, construction, graphics, 3-D modelling, rendering, history, sustainable architecture, strength of materials for 2 years.

I am enthusiastic about research and also want to imbibe the same attitude among students. The attitude to question and reason is what I try to inculcate among my fellow students. I follow a simplistic approach to teaching by relating them to practical examples of life. I feel as an architect one needs to be reliant on sketching, observation skills, willingness to learn from their surroundings. Having the required software and communication skills I feel I can impart quality education and help in raising the standards of architectural education in this country.
