My approach is very student centered. Students sign up for lessons bringing in their own experience, expectations, motivation and learning styles. It is important to first interview and give students a diagnostic test to establish their level and interests and use these to plan and develop lessons or adapt existing ones to suit a student.
I have taught and worked with students in Asia, The Middle East and Europe so I am aware of the different language issues of students from different backgrounds and how to work on helping students.
I use a variety of learning styles and materials to ensure my students progress and achieve their learning objectives.
