Graduated from Shri Ram College of commerce Delhi University, Post graduated and Mphil from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, I am a qualified ASSISTANT professor with JRF and NET. Having a vast experience of teaching in Delhi University colleges and 6 years of experience in teaching IGCSE and A level Economics, I am a trained and certified ECONOMICS Facilitator by Cambridge Assessment International Education as well as International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). My students have scored A* consistently for three consecutive years at IGCSE LEVEL and A* and A for two years in AS/ A level Economics. I believe in a friendly learning environment with my classes open for discussions without any judgements. Students are motivated for becoming inquirers with confidence and explore the world of economics from different perspectives. Real life connection are ensured to develop lifelong learning skills and no mugging up is promoted. Various interactive online tools are adopted for teaching concepts in clear and interesting way, thereby ensuring student's engagement with the content. Online presentations, whiteboards, collaborative tools are employed effectively during classes to make understanding of theory and economics diagrams simplified for students will different callibre. Regular quiz and formatives assessment are done to check concept clarity with revision classes available after each topic is completed. Economics in my classes is fun with learning happening simultaneously.

Excellent and Dedicated teacher

Ms.Shweta teaches IB Economics HL to my son. She was highly recommended to my son by one of her students. My son had no prior knowledge of the subject and started classes with Ms.Shweta mid term in IB Year 1. Ms.Shweta takes complete responsibility for her student’s learning. She scheduled classes to teach the subject from the basics and bring his knowledge to the standard expected of IBDP HL. My son enjoys his class and has vastly improved. Periodic tests are held and detailed feedback is given on tests and assignments. Class updates after every class and Test performance feedback is also sent to parent.
Ms.Shweta is very punctual to the scheduled class while at the same time willing to accomodate the student’s exam and holiday schedule. She has supported my son by scheduling revision sessions day before the exam dates. I would like to thank Ms.Shweta for her guidance and time.

Passionate and Qualified Economics Teacher

Shweta is an enthusiastic and professional Econ teacher. She makes the class engaging and fun for the students. And gives a concise summary of the topics covered after each class to keep the parents informed.

My daughter has been under Ms Swetha's tutelage for more than 2 years now. And her interest and grades in IBDB has improved with time. Her weekly written assignments help students to revise old concepts as well as improve their ability to write good answers. Ms Swetha also conducts periodic tests that help the students to get very good at writing econ tests, which is core for IBDB.

We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for Econ tuition.

Extremely professional & result oriented Economics Teacher

Shweta is extremely systematic in her approach and follows a very clear method of teaching. She has an immpecable credentials with her education from Shri Ram College of Commerce & Delhi School of Economics, and being a qualified professor, this really reflects in her class with her mastery & knowledge of the Ecnomics subject.

From day one when we engaged her for our son, she knew exact syllabus including books being taught. She quickly organized a meeting with us, explained in detail how we should approach the classes while balancing learning & tackling exams & deadlines. She chalked out a 12 weeks plan and executed on the same.

What we really like about her is that she sends a short note after every class to parents as to what was taught, the area of improvements and action required for the next few days.

We highly recommend her and appreciate the focus she has brought in the subject for our son.
