I have passed my secondary and higher secondary with flying colors specially in the subject of mathematics. I have completed my bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from National Institute of Technology. I have never been out of touch with mathematics.
I am currently pursuing PhD in Indian Institute of Science ( IISc) Bengaluru.
Hence I am sure that I can guide, help and motivate my students to overcome any difficulty faced in this particular subject. I have taught my fellow students while I was in college and they were able to grasp it very easily whatever I had taught them relevant to the subject.
Following are my areas of interest. They are broadly divided into Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.
1. Electrical Engineering
- Electrical machines, Power Electronics, Semiconductor devices, Analog Electronics, Control Systems
2. High School Mathematics, Undergraduate Mathematics, Engineering Mathematics
Coming to the teaching methodology, My teaching methods are pretty much standard. It involves -
1. Understand the problem and analyse it.
2. Understand why a particular theory or two is used to solve a problem.
3. Step by step application of mathematical principles and postulates.
4. Explaining each step on the way to the final result.
5. Solve the problem and obtain the final result.
If any student is unable to understand any step involved in solving the problem, I am keen to explain the same again. A teacher is great only if he/she is able to make the students understand and help them in solving problems
