My name is Gyan Swarup Nag, and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Numerical Linear Algebra at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore. I graduated from Calcutta University with a B.sc. Math. Honours degree. I have done my master's degree from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur. I currently live in Indore for my Ph.D. degree. I have a passion for teaching mathematics and learning new things. I have been teaching offline for the last ten years and online teaching for the previous four years. I used to take tutorial classes for B-tech students in IIT. Because of COVID-19, online teaching gained a lot of attention for teachers and students, and I want to explore more in this field. My teaching approach is to provide familiar examples so that the student can correlate the theoretical things with real-life problems. I always prefer to give a step-by-step solution so that the student won't face any difficulties understanding the answer.
