Hi,
I am Debankan Dhara from Kolkata, India. I have been playing chess since 2005 and I have gathered quite a lot of experience in the past 16 years. I have won many state, national and international awards to my credit. As far as my teaching is concerned, I have gained experience over the past 3-3.5 years where I have nurtured many young talents. I usually prefer lichess platform while teaching but chess.com and chessbase are also other options available according to student demand. For video calling, google meet or zoom can be used. To start with, we can have detailed discussion on the various strategies, themes and tactics used in chess before moving on to greater depths of the game, that is the intermediate and the advanced levels. I try to teach in a way so as to make things as simple as possible so that the students enjoy the topics and are able to understand and grasp the subject better. Class materials are also provided every week to keep a record of the progress and for student reference as well.

    I am a chess player, currently FIDE rated 1933 and playing since 2005. Since the last 3-3.5 years I have been associated with multiple organizations where i have nurtured many kids and young talents and improved their game and overall skills.

Fee details

    ₹800–1,000/hour (US$9.58–11.98/hour)

    For Indians, the charge ranges from Rs 800/- to Rs 900/- per hour depending on the level of students. For beginner level, the fee is Rs 800/- hour, while for intermediate and advanced level students it's Rs 900/- per hour.
    For foreign students the charge is Rs 1000/- per hour.
